Ask Map eliminates the friction of switching between multiple disconnected apps to build a travel itinerary. By combining conversational AI with interactive mapping, the UX delivers a unified, powerful, and intuitive planning flow that transforms a multi-step research process into a single, cohesive experience—saving users significant time and cognitive load.

Users can activate the Ask Map pane to seamlessly co-create their travel plans with Copilot. Rather than generating a static checklist, the AI maps out a dynamic, day-by-day itinerary complete with curated points of interest, dining recommendations, and local events tailored contextually to their chat conversation.

Adding stops through chat experience

Interactive Timeline: Users can easily modify their day by swapping or removing stops directly within the itinerary pane.
Smart Routing: Clicking on a travel distance instantly visualizes the live route and navigation details on the map.
